Change management teams do not operate in a vacuum and, no matter how competent and experienced, by themselves, they cannot drive the project to success. Change management teams must be integrated since the inception of the project with project managers and sponsors. When they are not, change management teams can become key facilitators in developing a project team structure that leads to success and that incorporates change management as a true strategic partner. The presentation will make a comparison between two real examples where one project became incredibly successful and another (even with identical team members) struggled to apply real change management and contribute to overall success.
